Oração da bibliotecária
Oración de la bibliotecaria
(por Isabel Álvarez)
Libro nuestro
en los estantes quieto.
Sal a la calle, sin miedo,
que para eso estas hecho.
Tú que siempre aconsejas
a todo aquel que se deja.
Danos tu sabiduría,
que sea el pan de cada día.
Pasa de mano en mano,
para que todos te leamos.
Tú, gran amigo discreto
que sabes guardar un secreto.
Perdona a los que no te cuidan,
como nosotros los perdonamos.
Rogamos que te devuelvan,
que no caigan en la tentación,
y líbranos del mal lector.
Amen.

A banda sonora é fabulosa. Shakespeare decerto ficou contente! :)
O amor e o mar cabem no breve espaço de beijar...
Basket of love, pelo pintor surrealista Michael Cheval
"O amor é grande e cabe nesta janela sobre o mar.
O mar é grande e cabe na cama e no colchão de amar.
O amor é grande e cabe no breve espaço de beijar."
Carlos Drummond de Andrade
Não, não era a minha letra / "...no, it wasn't my writing"
Mais Alanis Morissette.
"Your House"
I went to your house
Walked up the stairs
I opened your door without ringing the bell
I walked down the hall
Into your room
Where I could smell you
And I shouldn't be here, without permission
I shouldn't be here
Would you forgive me love
If I danced in your shower
Would you forgive me love
If I laid in your bed
Would you forgive me love
If I stay all afternoon
I took off my clothes
Put on your robe
I went through your drawers
And found your cologne
Went down to the den
Found your CD's
And I played your Joni
And I shouldn't stay long, you might be home soon
I shouldn't stay long
Would you forgive me love
If I danced in your shower
Would you forgive me love
If I laid in your bed
Would you forgive me love
If I stay all afternoon
I burned your incense
I ran a bath
I noticed a letter that sat on your desk
It said "Hello love, I love you so love, meet me at midnight"
And no, it wasn't my writing
I'd better go soon
It wasn't my writing
So forgive me love
If I cry in your shower
So forgive me love
For the salt in your bed
So forgive me love
If I cry all afternoon
"Your House"

Mo'nique em "Precious": 'Who was gonna love me?'
"Precious" é um filme esmagador baseado no romance 'Push', de Sapphire. Retrata uma realidade muito dura: as crianças que crescem maltratadas, abusadas, violadas no contexto familiar. A verdadeira pobreza.
"You Oughta Know"
Recordando Alanis Morissete.
"You Oughta Know"
I want you to know, that I'm happy for you
I wish nothing but the best for you both
An older version of me
Is she perverted like me
Would she go down on you in a theatre
Does she speak eloquently
And would she have your baby
I'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother
'cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't able
To make it enough for you to be open wide, no
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me you'd hold me
Until you died, till you died
But you're still alive
And I'm here to remind you
Of the mess you left when you went away
It's not fair to deny me
Of the cross I bear that you gave to me
You, you, you oughta know
You seem very well, things look peaceful
I'm not quite as well, I thought you should know
Did you forget about me Mr. Duplicity
I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner
It was a slap in the face how quickly I was replaced
Are you thinking of me when you fuck her?
'cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't able
To make it enough for you to be open wide, no
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me you'd hold me
Until you died, til you died
But you're still alive
And I'm here to remind you
Of the mess you left when you went away
It's not fair to deny me
Of the cross I bear that you gave to me
You, you, you oughta know
'cause the joke that you laid on the bed that was me
And I'm not gonna fade
As soon as you close your eyes and you know it
And every time I scratch my nails down someone else's back
I hope you feel it...well can you feel it
Well, I'm here to remind you
Of the mess you left when you went away
It's not fair to deny me
Of the cross I bear that you gave to me
You, you, you oughta know
"You Oughta Know"

Ainda consigo LER o que estás a pensar / I can still READ what you're thinking
"Why"?
É lindo!!!
"Why" (letra na íntegra)
How many times do I have to try to tell you
That I'm sorry for the things I've done
But when I start to try to tell you
That's when you have to tell me
Hey... this kind of trouble's only just begun
I tell myself too many times
Why don't you ever learn to keep your big mouth shut
That's why it hurts so bad to hear the words
That keep on falling from your mouth
Falling from your mouth
Falling from your mouth
Tell me...
Why
Why
I may be mad
I may be blind
I may be viciously unkind
But I can still read what you're thinking
And I've heard is said too many times
That you'd be better off
Besides...
Why can't you see this boat is sinking
(this boat is sinking this boat is sinking)
Let's go down to the water's edge
And we can cast away those doubts
Some things are better left unsaid
But they still turn me inside out
Turning inside out turning inside out
Tell me...
Why
Tell me...
Why
This is the book I never read
These are the words I never said
This is the path I'll never tread
These are the dreams I'll dream instead
This is the joy that's seldom spread
These are the tears...
The tears we shed
This is the fear
This is the dread
These are the contents of my head
And these are the years that we have spent
And this is what they represent
And this is how I feel
Do you know how I feel ?
'cause i don't think you know how I feel
I don't think you know what I feel
I don't think you know what I feel
You don't know what I feel
Porquê? "Why"?

J. K. Rowling sabe que vale a pena esperar pelo comboio / The inspiration moment
"I sat and thought for four (delayed train) hours, and all the details bubbled up in my brain, and this scrawny, black-haired, bespectacled boy who didn’t know he was a wizard became more and more real to me".
