GLEE. Esta nova série da FOX apanhou-me desprevenida e agarrou-me. Quando comecei a ver não estava à espera que se tratasse de um musical e muito menos ficar surpreendida pela qualidade das "cantorias". As músicas são todas velhos êxitos, músicas familiares mas com novas e surpreendentes interpretações.

Este é um livro verdadeiramente perverso! Um livro masoquista! Além de perverso no título, é um livro que obriga o leitor à brutalidade de o rasgar para se deixar ler. Falo do conto de Edgar Allan Poe, The Imp of the Perverse, na edição de Helen Friel:

Acho que vou voltar a estudar história porque definitivamente parece que o mundo avança em círculos e tudo se repete.
O tenor Wayne Newton engana a cantar Danke Schoen porque quem ouve pensa que se trata de uma voz feminina. Esta canção foi editada em 1962, ainda eu não existia. Neste vídeo a melodia é acompanhada pelos os ruídos encantadores dos discos de vinil. Sons da minha infância. :)
