A minha MODESTA opinião de "Videojogos e Redes Sociais: Desafios para a formação dos bibliotecários".

Hoje estive no Goethe-Institut (nome que me custa a pronunciar porque não falo alemão :) ) a assistir à conferência internacional "Videojogos e Redes Sociais: Desafios para a formação dos bibliotecários".

Foi um dia bem passado a constatar que a profissão de bibliotecári@, a minha profissão, aliada às grandes, vertiginosas e constantes mudanças tecnológicas, é um mundo de potencialidades criativas em termos sobretudo de difusão de informação e  de serviço aos utilizadores.

Todas as intervenções pautaram pela qualidade mas devo confessar que a apresentação com que mais me identifiquei foi a de Julia Bergmann, bibliotecária alemã, com "From tradition to innovation". O que ela defendeu é precisamente aquilo em que eu acredito enquanto bibliotecária!

Acabei de descobrir Glee

GLEE. Esta nova série da FOX apanhou-me desprevenida e agarrou-me. Quando comecei a ver não estava à espera que se tratasse de um musical e muito menos ficar surpreendida pela qualidade das "cantorias". As músicas são todas velhos êxitos, músicas familiares mas com novas e surpreendentes interpretações.

Esta música é um original de Billy Idol.

"From Ryan Murphy, the creator of "Nip/Tuck," comes GLEE, a new comedy for the aspiring underdog in all of us.

The series follows an optimistic teacher, WILL SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison), who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to save mckinley High's Glee Club from obscurity, while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential. Um livro muito dificíl de ler porque... só se o rasgar!!!

Este é um livro verdadeiramente perverso! Um livro masoquista! Além de perverso no título, é um livro que obriga o leitor à brutalidade de o rasgar para se deixar ler. Falo do conto de Edgar Allan Poe, The Imp of the Perverse, na edição de Helen Friel:

Eça de Queiroz escreveu esta reflexão em Janeiro de 1872. Ou seja, passaram-se entretanto 138 anos e cinco meses. Nada mudou ou Eça adivinhou?!

Acho que vou voltar a estudar história porque definitivamente parece que o mundo avança em círculos e tudo se repete.

O tenor Wayne Newton engana a cantar Danke Schoen porque quem ouve pensa que se trata de uma voz feminina. Esta canção foi editada em 1962, ainda eu não existia. Neste vídeo a melodia é acompanhada pelos os ruídos encantadores dos discos de vinil. Sons da minha infância. :)
